Dear Delegates,
Welcome to our committee! We are very excited to have you all participating and to begin this journey together. This committee is designed especially for beginners, so whether this is your first MUN or you’ve done a few conferences before, you are in the right place to learn, grow, and gain confidence.
My name is Egshiglen but you can call me Ellen and I will be a co-chair helping alongside Engun. I have participated in Model United Nations several times, and through these experiences I have learned how powerful discussion, diplomacy, and teamwork can be. MUN has helped me improve my public speaking, critical thinking, and confidence, and I hope this committee can do the same for you.
Our committee simulates the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), which is the part of the United Nations that helps countries work together to address international challenges related to illicit drugs, crime, and related issues. UNODC supports research, helps governments make and enforce laws, and builds cooperation between countries to reduce drug abuse and trafficking while promoting health, justice, and safety around the world.
Engun and I are here to guide you throughout the conference, so never hesitate to ask for help or clarification. We truly encourage everyone to speak up and engage, as your voice matters.
Best of luck, and see you soon!
Sincerely,
Ellen
Honourable delegates,

Hello! My name is Margad Naranbaatar. It is my honour to be part of the International School of Ulaanbaatar’s first Model United Nations conference of 2026 and welcome you all to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
I will be serving as your Chair for this year’s conference. Whether you are new to MUN or not, ECOSOC is one of the best committees to start your MUN journey. This committee is designed not to challenge you but also to help you grow as an individual and a team.
Economic and Social Council is one of the United Nation’s main bodies; addressing critical world’s economical, social and development issues. As a beginner committee, I think this committee is perfect for learning and developing. So don’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes, every experienced delegate had the same start. So I encourage you all to research in depth, participate actively and support each other. Respectful debates and team work will make our committee more productive and enjoyable.
Me and the Co-Chair will be committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive and engaging environment for everyone. And remember that we are here to guide you through every step you take.
I look forward to meeting each of you, hearing all your ideas and growing as a team. Till then, prepare well and make ISUMUN 2026 one of the most unforgettable experiences.
Yours Sincerely,
Margad Naranbaatar
Chair, Economic and Social Council, ISUMUN 2026.

I am truly honored to welcome you to the United Nations Human Rights Council of ISUMUN 2026. My name is Munkh-Orgil Enkhtugs, and it is my privilege to serve as your Chair for this year’s conference. As delegates of UNHRC, you are not merely representing nations — you are representing the protection of dignity, equality, and fundamental freedoms. Human rights are not abstract concepts; they shape lives, define justice, and demand accountability. This committee will challenge you to balance national interests with universal principles, and to approach complex issues with both diplomacy and empathy. Throughout this conference, I expect rigorous debate, well-researched arguments, and constructive negotiation. Speak with confidence. Challenge ideas respectfully. Defend your policies strategically. Growth in MUN happens when you step beyond your comfort zone. Please come fully prepared and ready to engage. If you have any questions prior to the conference, do not hesitate to reach out. I am incredibly excited to meet each and every one of you and to witness the excellence you will bring to this council. See you at ISUMUN 2026. Munkh-Orgil Enkhtugs

Hello delegates, my name is Uchral, and I am far beyond excited to serve as your Co-Chair for the UNHRC committee in ISUMUN 2026. We can’t wait to witness your substantive debate on some of the most pressing human rights issues facing the international community. Human rights are what directly affect our lives, save them, and enhance them. Our delegates must have narrow minds to protect what protects us, and justify the unfairness. We encourage you to engage respectfully, and advocate passionately within the framework of international law with eagerness.
– Enkh-Uchral

Dear delegates,
It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you to the World Health Organization! My name is Victoria and I will be serving as your Chair for this conference.
The WHO stands at the heart of global humanitarian action. As it ranges from public health crises to healthcare inequality, this committee demands strong policy knowledge as well as empathy. You are expected to think beyond national interests and consider implementable solutions that prioritize global wellbeing.
Having participated in multiple MUN’s and humanitarian focused committees, I deeply value diplomacy and delegates who are unafraid to challenge ideas while remaining open minded.
Wishing you the best of luck in your preparation and I look forward to meeting you all soon!!
Kind regards,
Chair Victoria

Most esteemed delegates,
On behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO) dais, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International School of Ulaanbaatar Model United Nations Conference.
The World Health Organization plays a critical role in addressing global public health challenges, from controlling the spread of infectious diseases to improving access to healthcare and strengthening health systems worldwide. In this committee, you will have the opportunity to engage with complex and relevant global health issues, think critically about real-world problems, and collaborate with fellow delegates to propose practical and innovative solutions.
As an intermediate committee, WHO is designed to challenge you while also helping you further develop your skills in research, diplomacy, public speaking, and resolution writing. We encourage you to come prepared with a strong understanding of your country’s position, but also with an open mind, ready to listen, negotiate, and compromise. Respectful debate and constructive dialogue will be essential to the success of this committee.
Most importantly, ISU MUN is a space for learning, growth, and meaningful discussion. Do not be afraid to speak up, ask questions, or share your ideas. We are here to support you throughout the conference and ensure a productive and engaging experience for all delegates.
We look forward to insightful debates, well-thought-out solutions, and an enjoyable conference. Welcome to ISU MUN, and we wish you the very best of luck in the World Health Organization committee.
Kind Regards,
Co- Chair

Dear Delegates,
My name is Tuguldur Radnaasuren, and I shall be your Co-Chair for UNICEF with your Chair,
Ujin. It is my greatest honor to welcome you all to the United Nations Children’s Fund at the first
annual ISUMUN. It is an honor for me to see such passionate delegates come together to work
within one of the most significant issues that our world must deal with: children across the globe.
While UNICEF as a committee might not necessarily fit with the classic format of a debating
committee, it is a unique committee that focuses on collaboration, empathy, and solution-based
discussion as some of the most pressing issues involving children facing humanitarian
challenges.
Most importantly, lets make this conference a collaborative, lively, and, of course, fun
experience for everyone. I'm looking forward to hearing your arguments, watching your alliances
unfold, and seeing how each of you adds your own spark to UNICEF. I hope to see some
familiar faces alongside new ones.
See you soon at ISUMUN!
Warm regards, Tuguldur

From your Co-Chair

Greetings, esteemed delegates. My name is Enkhkhuslen Batjargal, and it is with great enthusiasm that I will be your chair for this year’s Historical Crisis MUN for the much-anticipated ISUMUN 2026, with my dear companion Anar Altankhuu. As a student who personally studies history, it is such a big honor for me to be able to chair and meet new delegates who are interested in history as much as I am. I can’t wait to see everyone’s take on this year’s topic, and see how much of history can be changed in the hands of the delegates. If anyone has a question regarding the topic, conference, or tips as a delegate, feel free to send me an email or a DM via instagram, and I will reply as soon as possible.

Dear Delegates, Welcome to the Historical Crisis Committee at the first-ever ISUMUN. I am Brando, your Co-Chair, and it is an immense honor to be able to guide you through this committee. In the HCC, you will step into important moments in history and face decisions that could change the course of these events. This committee not only challenges you to think critically, but also to act strategically, and collaborate under pressure. Every motion and crisis note carries immense weight, and your choices will shape the outcomes of our committee. Whether you are new to crisis committees or experienced, I encourage you to engage fully, embrace the challenge, and develop your skills as a thinker, negotiator, and leader. I am excited to see the strategies, debates, and solutions you bring to the table.
